Fire by Friction
Reconnect with this primitive and sacred method of creating fire-
with nothing but wood, a knife, and some string. I will be teaching
the ancient skill of the bow-drill, as taught to me by Tom Brown Jr.
at the Tracker School. I will provide wood, string, and tinder; you
will need a knife, preferably a non-folding sheath knife which will
withstand a slight beating (we will be using it to split wood as well
as to carve the parts).
