Sealing Our Prayers with Knots ~Creating Talismans and Sacred Adornment~ There are many ways to focus our intentions and release our prayers. Juliana has found the simple repetition of knot-tying to be a powerful meditation and tool, allowing us to infuse the piece we are creating with our intentions and often, in the end, weaving a clear and beautiful visualization of the whole of our prayer where otherwise it may have remained unclear. The pieces often speak more than our words ever could, and our visions crystallize magically before us. In our process we can draw from many resources such as sacred numerology, stone lore, color magic and whatever else feels true. You are encouraged to bring a stone, shell, bone or other sacred object that you would like to work with. Some basic knots will be taught for setting our sacred objects and there will also be some materials provided to play with. Because all of our prayers are so different and our visions unique, there will be a lot of space to connect individually to create your very own power piece. Juliana Rose Goldstone Juliana Rose Goldstone first learned this type of knot work while traveling and living in Peru. Over the years she began to develop her own interpretations of this technique and her own designs began to blossom. She noticed how her mind would quiet and her intentions would crystallize as her work began to take shape. Juliana is excited to share this technique as a beautiful tool for creating a physical manifestation of our prayers and intentions in whatever form may emerge. |
